Those that read the subtitle of this post “I know how it feels” – and made the association with Glyn the “But(t)ler” …. NO!

Ugh.

LOL.

It’s basically a funny email from yours truly tho in that this morning I saw (on WeShat) a short snippet posted by a friend of mine – a “real strongman” that compete in REAL tournaments etc and doesnt just talk about it – posted with the caption “Summer bulk and new PR’s”.

And, of course, the squat rack!

He was doing?

HEAVY SQUATS – and he’s trying to get up to 200 kgs from what I gleaned.

Now, thats a worthy goal in some regards …

But “bulk” and heavy weights ain’t all they’re touted to be, my friend.

Let me clarify.

Years ago, as you guys know, a certain Rahul Mookerjee used to lift weights. He got “stronger” by the day.

“You were pretty thick back then!! Just bodyweight, or weights?”

Remember that comment?

It wasn’t weights at that time….

Anyway, he also got fatter, “bulkier”, more miserable and so forth, and his stamina was shot to high hell and beyond.

Now, this isn’t the case (at least not fat wise) with my buddy, and he seems a very happy person.

Which is great, but squats are the #1 thing to do to build bulk – that I DO agree.

The hormones you get RAGING throughout your entire body after a solid leg, hip and therefore lung workout, and the “T blast”?

Nothing compares to it!

Hiking those steep, steep hills for hours – well, there was more than one reason I did it and there were many reasons it got me into stellar, super shape!

Not to mention I got thighs of rippled steel that way, and not to mention the Hindu squats I did AFTER that kicked my butt like nothing else.

And of course, benefited me the most.

Now, I could go on and on about how people that squat well over 300 kgs in the Jim CANNOT – I repeat – CANNOT do more than 20 or so of these Hindus when they start at one go – and if they do it right, they can hardly “walk” for days (much like the Bozo himself, hehe, but his “squats” are different if you get my drift).

He squats on unmentionables …

I could also go on and on about the knee injuries and blown out lower backs that ultimately occur from training this way, but I won’t.

Instead, what I’ll say is this.

My friend is training SAFE – gotta give it to him! Proper rack, spotter etc . . . And the lower back was STRAIGHT (as much as it can be) – so he’s got most of the form down right.

But here’s the thing.

There is a far, far better way to build strength throughout the whole body – and an INSANE, RAGING grip that NO amount of weights can give you my friend.

And it’s one of the things I’ll cover probably in Lumberjack fitness.

I’ve been doing it with mammoth red buckets of water myself at odd intervals throughout the day plus my regular workouts.

And let me tell you, when you repeatedly lift beer barrels – or heavy stones – like this – you’re building brute strength in a way nothing else can come close to.

Let me also tell you that it isn’t just about the lift.

It’s about initiating the lift from the LEGS – the THIGHS AND HIPS – the right way.

Done right, you won’t even “feel” the arms working, but they will!

And if you squat in a “midway” position (like the Bozo we all know and “giggle at” is so used to) – WHILE holding that weight?

NOT ass to grass.

NOT hoisting it over head.

In a “mid squat” .

Your thighs will shake like never before. It’ll also be strength training like you’ve never done before.

Add in isometrics, and you’re READY TO GO – if you can even walk an inch after that.

(Thats not why the Bozo is always walking “knock kneed” though, hehe)

And that, my friend is that.

Try it – let me know how it goes!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

PS – This is “basic isometrics“, and yet it kicks most people in the can – so you owe it to yourself to pick up a copy NOW.

PS #2 – Advanced Isometrics ? Very much in the works, in a few months perhaps!

PPS – In fact, this book is so damned popular that we;ve got it translated into Portugese already. I’m waiting for the translator to send me the draft with all the pictures etc – but since I’ve waited for over 2 weeks, I might just have it up myself.

That book is HUGE. So big I can barely SEND it to the great guys who translate!

And this morning we started on the Spanish translation too.

So, lots of great stuff coming out – stay tuned!

PPS #1 – THIS site only sells English books – but if you want the “translated” versions shoot me an email and I’ll have the links out to you.

And last, but not least, remember that little bit about the Collector’s Edition of Fast and Furious Fitness – once gone, they’re gone, so get your copy NOW while you can, bro. Truly worth it!
