And real strength at that!

And yes, before you say it. Forearms are part of it, and they are indeed one body part, but there is another part which people don’t often notice consciously, but subconcsiously, believe you me, it makes an impact and how.

And it doesnt just make a “looks wise” impact. The strength benefits it translates into in the real world are very real!

If you look at Matt Damon’s physique in the Bourne series, you’ll notice two (or more things).

One, the epitome of FUNCTIONAL FITNESS.

Two, he’s about as far removed from a booybuilder as can be, but put him in a cage with one, and …!

And three, his shoulders – and TRAPS (and of course the CORE which is emphasized by very little overall body fat).

And yes.

HE got to his overall low body fat levels by doing a lot of “advanced” hill training. Yes! Them hills DO have gold in them, hehe.

But this isn’t about hills. This is about that one body part.

And it isn’t the chest, or even the broad back or the sleek powerful shoulders, or the lats like bats, or anything like that,

It’s the TRAPS.

A part of the body that often stays hidden in clothing, but is nigh visible.

And if you’re a true strongman, athlete, sportsperson (“trolling on Twitter or social media” doesnt count as “sports” – unless you’re “The Bozo” of course ;-)) .. swimmer, wrestler, army man, or just about anyone with any real world strength, then you’ve got strong traps.

And you likely work them whether you know it or not.

The traps are the body part that are instrumental in terms of HEAVY LIFTS done right.

The traps are one MAIN reason (other than grip) why people cant do pull-ups right (and why some of you can get all the way up there, but for whatever reason can’t get the chin up over the bar).

(Yes, body fat plays a huge, huge role here, but so do TRAPS!).

And when I look at a person, the first thing I notice (or a combo of things, actually) is the overall “look”.

The core.

The grip.

And the traps.

One of the reason my courses on pull-ups and handstand pushups are so successful is that they get real results.

Including the wide variety of movements I teach in Animal Kingdom Conditioning.

And Pushup Central. And many others.

Virtually ALL my upper body movments hit the traps hard, and how.

Don’t believe me? Try holding the “bottom” position of a handstand for more than a few seconds, nose to the floor (note – be CAREFUL!) and do that for five reps.

Tell me how you feel the next day!

And that, my friend is truly that. And YES, this carries over into real world functional strength as well.

You, the reader, may not want to be an athlete or strongman, but strong traps are what prevent back pain – allow you to move furniture with ease – carry those cases of beer up flights of stairs (or water, hehe), or your “favorite lady” in your arms (or should I say “lady”, hehe).

In short – working traps is a pursuit that will reward you well for the rest of your life, and looks are the last thing I’m talking about!

Get started with the best damn course on working the traps TODAY my friend. Truly spectacular!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee
