Come rain, come SHINE!

I used to learn Tae-kwon-do back in high school- well, middle actually.

And it got me in pretty good shape even at that age of being told to “lift pink dumbells to get strong” (well wait. That was at the age of 17 when I wanted to “pump” them biceps just like the movie stars on screen, most of whom who years later look anything but what they did – Arnie being one prime example, but hey, you know that!)

(And Stallone being the rare case that DOES stay in shape, and how!).

Anyway …

Taekwondo is often derided by boxers and ji-jitsu guys are being useless in the real world in terms of fighting, and they’re probably right to an extent (unless you’re a Black belt at it).

Probably a step over kung fu shung fu …

But point isnt’ that.

Point being, pushups.

Our instructor was a tough, tough dude.

And after all the kicks, stretches and LEG exercises (talk about a core workout!) he put us through pushups, which of course no-one wanted to do.

Just 10, but that was apparently a chore for most.

Yours truly, for whatever reason did them like they were supposed to be done without knowing it.

Chest all the way to the floor. Pause. Back up – all the way, and I can still remember our instructor go “1”! “2!”

When he’d come to me, he’d look at me with that look in the eye.

“Good!” he’d say.

Pity I didnt continue doing it in high school . Pity I never got any encouragement to do so as opposed to the BS regarding grades etc. UGH!

Anyway, while we were stretching one day … the forward version of the splits where one guy “opens your legs up fully”.

I’ve made no secret of the fact my genetics are shitty, and my hamstrings and groins have always been tight and NOT loose (probably from being forced to “sit and read” from a young, young age).

(The opposite of my daughter hehe).

And so while the guy was prying my legs open, and I was squealing in agony, the instructor looked at me and grinned.

And then to the other dude, he said.

“give to him! Stretch him out fully – he can take it!”

And he probably noticed something, hehe.

And then on to the topic of training, and DEDICATION. And students skipping classes (many did).

And the other dude spoke up.

“Sir, it’s about training daily – come rain, come hail, come shine!”

(The above said in Hindi, but thats the sum and substance and GIST of it!)

And we got that look of approval again, and our instructor was RIGHT in givng us that look.

THAT is real dedication.

Flash forward to 2016, when yours truly used to truly climb the hill in POURING rain and worse.

I’ve mentioned how trees sometimes fell around me, and it ain’t no exaggeration either.

“Dad, do you climb in a category 3 hurricane”, my daughter will often ask.

I grin back.

“yes, but not 4. Well, not really. But 5 – no way!”

She giggles back. “You’re not that crazy!”

Well, maybe I am.

I still remember being soaked to th ebone, and slogging up that hill in torrential rain. Downpour. What have you.

GETTING HER DONE, while no-one else would. Well, maybe a solitary straggler, but no more than that.

The shoes squelching out water.

All the while wanting to quit, but much like the Undertaker slowly but surely making his way to the squared circle … NOT QUITTING.

Getting it – her – – DONE!

And then the trek back home.

And anotehr great one in the books.

THAT, even if I say so myself is dedication.

THAT spirit is what I want in YOU – in terms of life – fitness – whatever.

And THOSE are the type of people I sell to.

No excuses pally. Get after it – now!

And as I sit here after sprints and pull-ups, I feel great, and am off to the shower. More later – but remembver – what can’t break you will always, without exception, make you stronger in every way!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

PS – Perhaps the gene of doing pushups was always lying dormant in me, hehe. And perhaps thats why I came out with th ebest damned course ever, a course NO-ONE can TOUCH in terms of the sheer NUMBER of exercises therein and the variety and the workouts and a course that will whoop your ass into shape quick. Check it our right here – – Pushup Central.

PS #2 – And no, you don’t got to be that extreme to do my stuff. Start slow – before you know it, you’ll be in great shape, and pumping out more yourself!

(pun NOT intended, hehe). But it’s true! 😉

Why I don’t (and never have, hehe) “work cheap”.

OR work with those who don’t value my time, or services, or books, or products.

In very rare cases I might give people a trial.

As I did in that job wayyyy back in 2008 where given my results I was being underpaid if anything. Big time. At least if you look at the results and not the brown nosing (I have to admit – I failed miserably at the latter, hehe).

But really, my friend.

Thats why my books and products aren’t cheap, despite the ongoing chorus of hoo haa about it.

Because if it’s cheap, well, it ain’t gonna give you value, but you know what the trouble is?

In my life, EVERY time I’ve done something on the cheap, I’ve seen people “expect more” – and why?

Well, because apparently “I have the ability”.

OK, then pay me more.

Uh …

OK, well, then you get what you pay for.

Rant! Hissy! “We’ll find someone else”.

(year down the line)

“Ok, so how’s that working out for you. Probably not the best, hehe”.

And the scowls I get validate it for the most part.

But ole Freddie was right.

I don’t work cheap. Never have, never will, and won’t last if by some fluke I have to.

And this brings me to another facet of it.

Being I design websites (well, used to, for a living at a certain stage), I often have people asking me for quotes on it.

And in ALL these cases, after I quote them, gues swhat happens.

NADA.

A big, fat ZERO – and while in that case they’re mostly price shopping, there is more to it.

Por ejempelo, a bar owner in Dongguan who is “always busy” and wanted an “exhaustive quote” on my services despite him being “too busy” to get back to me on it.

And of course, the red flag went up on that one as soon as I followed up (truth be told, I shouldn’t have, but did it anyway).

“Bro, I’m too busy” (not to mention I HATE the word “bro” most of the time, especially when we’re talking business!)

OK. He wasn’t too busy to request an exhaustive quote though or read it. Hehe.

I’ve written about Sophia, of course.

Gave her an exhaustive quote.

Which she then took to another company, got it done on the cheap, and then had the audacity to ask me for “modifications” (the REAL stuff that is required to be done on a web site as opposed to point and click).

SO of course, she could pay me by the hour.

“He’s too expensive to employ full time!”

AH, but guess who they come out when they want the REAL DEAL.

And when they want something that MATTERS – DONE!

And thats great.

I’m happy to be that guy that is ignored except for when it’s time to get the job DONE.

But point being?

It’ll only get done if you compensate me, and do so well!

And if not, well, that door is always open for ya, hehe. Don’t let it hit you in the ass!

Alright, end of rant. I’ll be back soon with more probably!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

PS – Take a gander at our PRICEY products right here. Yes, I ain’t for everyone, but if you shell out the bucks – you migth just LEARN a thing or two, grasshopper. I promise THAT MUCH!

Rope/Chain VS RING pull-ups

It’s wierd, isn’t it?

I’ve written two books on pull-ups, with damn near all the variations (advanced ones) and workouts etc that you’ll EVER need for this great, great exercise in the second book.

And the fundamentals in the first . . .

And yet, as I keep saying.

There is always more.

And as of late, I’ve been focusing on the same pull-ups, except done in a different manner from my normal “ultra thick bar” style.

Sometimes, I’ll do them on a military style pull-up “stand” out there which has a bar that is far less thicker than the one I use normally.

And it feels different, to be honest.

I can get as many or more reps on it, but really – that stand taxes the LATS a lot more than the regular version (that I do) because that version is GRIP torture more than anything else.

Now, don’t get me wrong.

My version is indeed the one I’d recommend for you – because the grip and traps are usually the weakest areas for most modern day men (think not being able to get your chin up over the bar) or even HOLD on to the bar.

But every so often, make changes my friend.

And my changes were mostly ROPE pull-ups (and ring pull-ups aka parallel grip pull-ups).

And as I did the former again after a break of a few days (remember that NEW routine I spoke about ;)) I was amazed.

Rope pull-ups felt tough to me before.

But as I got to the ropes (in my case chains – thick ones that held the swing set together) and held on, I knew something was different.

I pulled up higher than I ever had – effortlessly!

And this morning (or afternoon) I’m sitting here – nursing SORE lats of all things.

While I felt it in my lats over the past few days doing handstand pushups throughout the day, for one, it was never THIS sore.

THIS is the type of soreness I got years ago when I focused on only pull-ups – did great – and then one day got back to pushups, and BAM!

I could barely lift my arms up when showering!

Further proof that pushups are one of the best damned exercises out there.

But the rope pull-ups, my friend, really, really give you a chance to isolate the lats if you do it right, and in a way better than perhaps ring pull-ups (parallel grip) which isolate the biceps a lot more.

Believe me, if you hang on correctly, initiating that “pull from the lats” becomes a lot easier …

But of course, you gotta work your way up to it!

So many different ways of doing the same exercise – and so it should be!

Keep going, my friend.

And before I sign off – HERE is the course that will get you up to speed on pull-ups – use this BEFORE you crank on to the advanced course!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

PS – Curiously enough my traps aren’t sore AT ALL despite not doing a single pull-up for a few days. But the other parts. Figures, eh. Handstand pushups truly ARE the bomb!

Letting some much, much needed STEAM off

With all my new workout schedules, styles, different exercises, new ones, combos of new and old ones and what not, something strange happened.

And something I’ve often been guilty of doing without even consciously recognizing or knowing it.

Something we ALL do unconsciously (though for the life of me I can’t figure out why!).

That being, to, for whateve rreason STOP doing what works best for YOU.

Coul dbe the intense mental work I’m putting in certain regards these days. Something that worked wonders for me just a couple of years back, and yet I stopped doing it inexplicably in 2019!

And the workouts?

Well, I’ve been doing ’em, but with a slight twist.

What has always worked best for me is wake up – and go get here done

But these days, I’m doing something different for whatever reason – slightly different.

I wake up – write to you, or check business emails etc, and then after that get her done.

Not a huge delay, but it’s a delay regardless.

Anyway, this morning I was feeling CRANKY.

Off.

All was NOT well with the world, despite the super handstand pushup workout last night.

I was attacting bazillions of junk messages all over the place (all went to DELETE).

People looking to moan and groan. Complain. A shoulder to cry upon.

And so forth.

Nothing wrong once in a while with all of the abov e-hey. I’ve been there. You’ve been there. We all do it, but when it;s just talk, talk, talk and IGNORE what the other person is saying, or keep asking idiotic baseless meaningless questions to prolong the conversation (or keep repeating the same thing like a stuck record) – thats when and why I hit DELETE. Or block usually …

Anyway, I slammed the laptop shut (not really, hehe. Closed!).

And out I went.

Tea was left undrunk.

I did a different workout today. No climbing, no rope jumps, no pushups.

Did plenty of that last afternoon …

I shouldn’t say no pushups, but anyway, I just Ran.

A slow run to start with. Picked up pace in the middle. Three rounds around the BIG park, and two again.

Then I did 25 pull-ups.

Then I repeated three rounds of RUNNING, picking up the pace even more (not sprinting, but still).

And then, 15 pull-ups.

Back home.

Stretched out. Launched into a 10 minute handstand routine (static holds, HSPU’s).

And now, my friend, I’m off to the shower. And I’m ready to take on the world, hehe.

Lesson being – do what worked for you my friend. And what WORKS.

We all stop doing it every once in a while, but we ALL (when our results falter in any regard) need to kick ourselves in the butt once and get going on that same path again.

I know one damn thing.

I’ve always been happiest and the most productive when my fitness and health (and what I really, really wanted out of life – see site #3, hehe, still not online) took priority over damn near everything else.

Take care of yourself FIRST bro.

You can only take care of others thereafter. And ther est will fall into place!

OK – back soon!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

PS – Pick up the one and only DEFINITIVE course on HSPU’s right HERE – Shoulders like BOULDERS!

What you CANNOT do – WILL benefit you – if you DO IT!

Why do I say this? The obvious …

Well, first off, because … it’s true.

And second, because of the whinging and moaning you see when people work out.

Often times people ignore the bloody OBVIOUS staring them in the face.

And do everything possible to make EXCUSES and not workout.

The #1 excuses amongst all this being?

“I can’t find a gym” (closely followed by “I have no time to workout”)

(And yet have time to gaggle away nineteen to the dozen on the phone or check useless social media updates, or obsess about how Pres Trump will beat the count, or other factors entirely out of your control)

Don’t get me wrong. Ain’t nothing wrong with ANY OF THAT, brah.

But the point of me saying this is this … that sometimes, what you overlook as easy or “it won’t give me a workout can giv eyou the workout of your LIFE”.

For example, over the past few days (and I’m writing thi sin a different vein) I’ve been engaged in a different sort of challenge, a challenge that would SHOCK most people if I told ’em what it was.

That being the “no workout, gain no weight – LOSE if possible” challenge.

IT was something that came to me on the spur of the moment.

And over the past few days I’ve been quietly doing this and following my own dictum.

(Note – what I’ve been doing is something I have NOT revealed as yet. Not in 0 Excuses Fitness System. Not in Advanced Hill Training. Not in ANY Of my products.)

And note this too – what might be workout from hell for most people is NOT a workout whatssover for me, but that ain’t the point either.

(for instance, my definiton of nothing might be “50 pushups a day” which might and probably will leave the average gym Bubba floundering in a pool of sweat on the floor).

But no, this ain’t about THAT.

This is about more than that.

And I won’t let the cat out of the bag just yet, but let me just say I DID LOSE weight on this regimen, much the same as I mention in Advanced Hill Training, right like that, day by day!

Truly wondrous isnt it?

Anyway, back to workouts.

What I ALSO discovered was this.

That I’ve been ignoring certain things.

Take handstand pushups for instance.

Yours truly Mr. HandStand pushup was doing two workouts a day a while back, just to change things up.

Then what he did above.

And today when I got back to (or set a new PR) of 5000 jumps, I decided to do something different again.

I held a handstand. For time.

Amazingly enough, for a guy that can pump these out in sets of 10 and not feel it … i felt it!

Now, that doesnt mean I couldn’t do it.

I did it.

But still, it’s amazing how the smallest of things can give you a solid workout from hell, and as I finished, my main workout in that regard wasn’t the pushups – it was the static holds I teach you in the book.

Believe me. There is a reason I teach the handstand pushup the way I do, different from how most people do it.

It’s harder that way, sure.

But I’ve always been a huge believer in getting the hard stuff out of the way and gettni gbetter at the hard stuff – FIRST!

Believe me again, and trust me later.

This approach has paid rich dividends – all my life – in every field of life.

And fo rme, it wasn’t so much the trap workout – but the SPATIAL awareness that felt new, as I stayed in the position for what felt like hours (but was 2 minutes).

Believe you me, them two minutes go by SLOW sometimes! 😉

Hehe.

And that concludes this one. There is ALWAYS something to learn, bro!

Quit complaining and just DO it.

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

PS – HERE is where you can pick up Shoulders like Boulders, truly the best (elementary) course on handstand pushups ever, and HERE is the advanced course. If you’re truly serious, you’ll get both – NOW!

(and thats who I want to get the course – the truly SERIOUS – rest need not “apply”!)

Turning a disadvantage … into a STRENGTH!

Many years ago, or I should “when I was born” yours truly was born with many unique gifts. Like we all are!

And yours truly was born with a mind, will power, and an insatiable desire to “keep getting back up after beating down in a bloody manner” (not always literally – but sometimes, yes).

Something that annoys the heck out of most people for whatever reason, and appeals to my biggest supporters, big time.

And something that is a hallmark of EVERY successful person down the ages no matter what field we’re referring to.

But this isn’t about that.

Fitness wise, I’ve been born with crappier genetics than you’d think (and that most don’t believe).

I cannot tell you how I want to BARF when I hear, for instance, that “oh, it’s easy for you!”

No it ain’t my friend. It never was.

I was never the biggest or strongest guy at school.

I was never naturally good at pushups, and the only fitness advice I got when growing up was “lift pink dumbbells for 15 minutes a day” as that “will make the muscles on the arms sprout!”

Yee HAAAAAA!

(all the while, of course, while those that told me that marveled at the “bods on screen” and said “they did it”, but you? “he thinks he’s so strong!” )

(And when I did do it, and better, of course, the first thing my SO told me? You need to gain some weight! Pronto!)

LOL – can’t win for losing eh.

But anyway, point of this being.

Pull-ups. As an example.

I am the body type that puts on weight VERY easily, and it’s VERY NOTICEABLE (perhaps thats why people point it out a lot?LOL again).

But the flip side to this is … when I GET IN SHAPE (or stay in shape) then I truly do “look like a movie star” in many ways.

Really. No kidding.

Or like “my back is built” and “I go to the gym (natural gym)”

And so forth.

And so I effectively turned what was a disadvantage into an advantage by first working my weak areas heavily.

You truly are as strong as the weakest links in your chain!

And the other key to this?

Never be embarassed or shy about your disadvantages (provided it’s something you can’t do much about at the time).

In fact, EMBRACE them and be OPEN about them!

And you have to look no farther than President Trump right now whose doing all he can NOT to give up while the babel around him to “concede” what is obviously a “bought” election rises in volume and intensity.

Trump got where he was by defying the odds. And though he might lose this battle, he WILL win the WAR.

Moving on from that, I’ve mentioned my other site being down havent I?

Again, for no real “fault” of mine (something I really couldn’t control).

I anticipated it being down for a week or so, no more.

It’s been two and counting …

I’ve got posts written up, searing HOT posts written and ready to go.

When the site did get online for a brief while, I posted three of these.

BAM. Down again! (and no, it ain’t this site or the rahulmookerjee.com site I’m referring to).

I stopped posting again. “Waited” for the other site to be back up.

But all the while, the posts were “gnawing” to be posted …

… and I did it.

I posted on my Medium account for that site, although I’d originally planned fo r them to go on MY site first and anywhere else later.

But, do what you can. Do SOMETHING!

And a few minutes after I did it, the sale I made on Amazon vilified what I did.

Not only that – I was pretty open about the fact the site was down(and that we’re working to get it back up asap)

Moral of the story is?

Don’t back away from your weaknesses my friend.

EMRACE them.

And then LEARN from them – and GROW from them. And beat ’em!

Hit ’em where it hurts the hardest, and one of the ways you can do that is THIS way!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

PS – For those of you struggling to do pull-ups , here is the course that will GET you there.

How much of that muscle is between your EARS – and how much of it MATTERS.

Well, well, well.

I’ve been speaking about visualization a lot ove rthe past few days I believe (and yes, for those that are wondering what happened to the daily emails – patience, grasshopper. We’re testing out a new email system as it were, and while you might recieve a few occasionally by and now, we probably won’t be back to “full swing” before next week or thereabouts. Such as it goes).

But anyway, visualization is one of the tools I talk about a lot.

In 0 Excuses Fitness, I give you an example of how a student “Tracy” used this technique to blast past “past bests” in terms of learning a new language without even trying externally.

And the same thing applies to fitness. Hence what I say about this topic in the book on pull-ups, for instance.

Yes, that is right!

One of the most “feared” and physical exercises out there is actually more mental than you’d think.

As life in general is.

It’s all about whats going in between your ears, and most of us (and I realize you may not believe this) have NO idea of what is (the chaos) between our ears.

In our minds.

Our BRAINS.

And hence, chaotic results at best, or none at all. Goes for fitness too!

And anyway, I’ve often spoken about how “every adversity carries with it a seed of equivalent benefit or more” (not the flower of full blown success but the SEED from which said flower may be said to germinate).

And it’s TRUE my friend. It’s TRUE.

What do I mean?

Well, this really.

Or an example. (My train of thought suddenly disappeared to emailing you while writing this).

Over the past month or so I’ve been at a very noisy place – and the noise just INCREASES day by day with SCANT regard for how much I “hate” it.

Yes, yours truly is a caveman for a reason.

I do my best work in peace and quiet. Without phones ringing, the damn TV BLARING, cartoons hither and thither, pots and pans clanging, doorbells ringing of the jimmy, a bazillion people interrupting me just as I’m about to write something (just that minute. Hehe).

And curiously enough or not, I’ve (as I wrote to you about before) amped my MENTAL meditiation techniques a lot more.

Of course, life amped it’s punches too, and if you’ve ever tried meditating (most haven’t) – and doing so with all sorts of noise around you willy nilly, well, let me tell ya, it’s something that will test – and BRING – the BEST out of you.

And I’ve figured out a way to do it … even in the noisiest of places, and no, it isn’t necessarily “white noise” though that helps.

What do I mean?

Well, patience, grasshopper,. I’ll be sending out more details on this as we go along, but rest assured, the secret applies to fitness as well.

And back to muscle – and whats between your ears.

Your brain truly decides everything, my friend, and the seed of super fitness lies (certainly!) NOT in you rgenetics or even so much your conscious thoughts or “what you do consciously)” as your THOUGHTS.

Think – and you will GET FIT – fitter than a fiddle!

Meditate on that a while, and you’ll see, for instance, why I say Hindu pushups often put you in a “trance like, receptive” state especially when done in the higher numbers.

All for now! I’m going to email you guys about this NOW – but we’ll be switching to a “different” system on this (the emailing) – – very soon. Stay tuned!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

PS – Remember to pick up the most unusual and yet BRUTALLY EFFECTIVE fitness course right here (one of them!) – Animal Kingdom Workouts.

Why I don’t make “false claims that sound good”

The entire world is awash with … hypocrisy these days.

And of course the outrage. The sheer outrage, mostly from the Left at Trump having “declared he’s won”.

It’s insane (not reall,y hehe, not if you know how to do it!) how a simple one line comment that Trump, or any successful marketer makes “off the cuff” (again, not really, but we won’t get into that here ;)) generates so much controversy.

I mean, he said it like it is.

Or like he FEELS it is.

Which is the entire key, along with a host of other keys that Trump probably just KNOWS (or has done so often in his life that it’s seond nature now to him – much like it was second nature to yours truly from the day he was BORN most likely).

Now, point of me saying this?

Well, it’s this.

The hypocrisy for one. The left that is actively rigging the election as we speak. Areas with populations of 300 K for one receving double and more votes than that (to be counted, of course, “later”!).

And of corse, the very people that claim they’ll be “tough on China” or so forth doing the exact opposite thing privately.

Need I say more?

I dont think so my friend. And Trump says what he thinks about it, and gets the “he’s making false claims! How dare he”.

Why would be a better question, and it’s amazingly obvious.

“You post inflamamtory articles” I still remember a friend of mine saying. “Which is fine, but … “

Except it isn’t because if it was truly fine he wouldn’t notice it in the first place. Hehe.

Which brings me to the point I often make.

One of them.

Along with getting to be an utter STUD at pull-ups if you follow what I tell you to do in my inital book – – proof in the pudding as it were, and along with getting to be a bonafide stud x 10 and then some if you do whats in the advanced book – I often make the claim o fhaving lost 60 kgs in but a few weeks.

I often make a claim of losing weight right AFTER a workout!

And many more.

Now, a lot of these claims don’t “sound” true.

But they are.

And as of claims that “sound good” as I’v ebeen accused of?

Well, believe it or not, sounding good is the least of my priorities – in fact it is not even on the bucket list of priorities.

I COULD probably sell a lot more by saying “0 Excuses Fitness works best if you do with a gaggle of admirers egging you on and taking selfies and what not at the ole gym”.

I COULD and WOULD probably sell a hell of a lot more copies of Pushup Central i fI said “pushups are just a prelim to bench presses”

I COULD probably sell a TON of books if I said “my stuff is mostly conditioning and prepares you for the real deal which is weights”

And a ton of other sales would probably FLOOD me if I said any of the above three in conjunction with some of the other rubbish that the sheeple, bozos and lazy fools believe.

And yet, I don’t.

Why.

Because that ain’t me, my friend.

When you buy 0 Excuses Fitness, for one, or any of my books or products or are on my list, read my writing etc, you’re getting ME.

Plain and simple.

Along with that you get stuff that flat out WORKS.

The nitty gritties. The down and dirties. The “in the trenches” info.

None of that is particularly “nice to say” or “sexy” or politically correct or any of the other rubbish in vogue nowadays.

But guess what – it works. Flat out works – and works better than any other fitness related stuff out there!

And yours truly can prove it.

And feels no need to make any false claims whatsoever.

And on that note, I’m out. Here is where you can pick up the best damned fitness system ever, if you so choose …

Best,

Rahu lMookerjee

PS – Plenty of tips in that above email. Hehe. And there are MORE in ALL my products. Take a gander NOW my friend.

Why them “random ideas” are the ones that matter

My daughter, for whatever reason, has always been a fan of handicrafts so long as I remember.

Well, now that I write this … so was I. Until a certain age! 😉

And she recently made a (and showed me a) beautiful “pen holder” made out of nothing but an empty soap carton.

A cute little thing if there ever was one, but she makes plenty of ’em, and what caused me to stop and ponder when I “saw” this one??

Well, something.

The sheer creativity, especially the kiddie frills at the back of it. Slim “shards” of carton dangling down at just the right angles!

Perhaps it’s also her Mom, of course, that we need to give credit to here – who makes “homes” for her out of empty Amazon boxes. Hehe. Creative to a T in certain regards is my significant other, I’ll say and GIVE HER that much!

Anyway …

0 Excuses Fitness, my friend, was NOT planned.

It was a random idea.

Out of the blue.

Suddenly came to me, and I Still remember. It was 7PM, going on 8 as I sat there in my apartment, beer in hand (I think, but maybe not) and just “did it.

I booked the domain. Created the site. And the rest is, well, history …

I’d been thinking along similar lines for a while, but when it came to me, much like the “Think and Grow Rich” title came to Napoleon Hill’s mind all those years ago, and replaced “Use your noodle to get the Kaboodle” (or something like that) – I just did it. Like he did.

Like all great men, and every other successful person (Donald trump being one prime example) did and have done throughout history.

Gut feeling.

The inner voice speaketh!

And when it does, as Claude Bristol famously said in the Magic of Believing, you better be ready to ACCEPT what it says.

As he said inspiration often strikes out of the blue. Well, it wasn’t Bristol who said that but there is a good reason behind the saying.

And what it mean is what Claude said, that being that when you intensely ponder a problem from all angles and positions, for instance, and then (unable to arrive at a suitable solution), lop off to sleep for one?

The next day you wake up recharged. Perhaps feeling GREAT. On top of the world.

And out of the blue, out of nowhere, the solution hits you.

It may sound crazy. May come at a busy time (usually does).

But you have to recognize the urge, act accordingly and just do it, for though the time is never right as they say, the time is NOW in terms of that “solution”!

And those that live life in the flow know what I BE talking about.

Anyway, fitness wise, you the reader often get the urge, I’m sure, to drop the gym and check out what Rahul Mookerjee is yelling about.

All the time.

At the top of his lungs.

Silently albeit!

That being, bodyweight exercises are the very best way to get fit, strong and healthy as a horse for your entire life, and given the results in front of you, can YOU honestly say you don’t want to be knocking out pull-up workouts and be done with ’em in less than 15 minutes?

OR don’t want to bang out 100 pushups daily?

Or don’t want to sprint hills?

Or so forth …

… And given the amount of peopl ethat haunt (and yes, I got that from my little girl, hehe, truly a fount of knowledge even at her age though she don’t know it as yet) my site, space, and everything else … I’d say hell yes.

Else they wouldn’t be doing it. Hehe.

Give in to that urge myf riend. Just do it.

You never know – you might be pleasantly surprised!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

PS – Here is the BEST damned fitness system ever. All born out of ONE RANDOM IDEA!

PS #2 – Random ideas are how I wrote this post – and how I fixed a VEXING issue with the popups on the site. Yes, most people didnt “like” the pop-ups. But they are back with a bang – and for a good reason, hehe. Sign up NOW my friend. ’tis FREE!!

PPS – I’ve put emailing on hold for a while, but I’m about to restart. Stay tuned! (perhaps within the next couple of days again. Change of provider. Long story. Amen! Hehe).

When an attempt to “put me in my place” backfired – spectacularly …

So I’ve been doing some thinking as of late.

Remembering some things.

And as memory floods back, I remember the roar of the ocean. The “nothingness” and “Everything” the ocean represents, especially choppy oceans with giant waves, and that constant “roar” …

I can still remember it.

On the beach. Staring out at the ocean for hours on end.

OR those beach runs at night …

And many other things, but for now, between the years of 2010 till 2012 (and indeed my whole life, hehe, from various angles) an attempt was made to “put me in my place” (albeit very indirectly in some ways and directly in others) by those you’d consider closest to you (or many would, at any rate).

People that have always pooh poohed what yours truly accomplished, choosing to focus on what I did not i.e. The BS THEY wanted me to accomplish for THEIR OWN selfish “wants”.

And it didnt work out, of course.

The strong willed, and indeed as “Malcom” in Jurassic Park so famously said of the dinosaurs that couldn’t breed (supposedly so) – that “life finds a way!”

And so does the subconscious, my friend. So does the subconscious!

And those periods in the Middle East, those dehumanizing (in many ways) and “depressing” (again in many ways) during the tumultous period yours truly worked for a couple of large multinationals in the Middle East and before that in a suburb of Delhi in India no less (back in the day) came to mind.

It’s no secret I don’t work a job.

But it’s also no secret that I’v ebene happiest and accomplished the MOST when I chose my own path.

And curiously enough for a period after getting married due to whatever reason I didnt, before of course yours truly reverted to type.

Does a fox change its colors?

Or a lion shed it’s mane (coat)? Hehe, I thought not.

Neither did I.

Anyway, point of this isn’t to rant about the past, but the wonderful things MEDITATION can do during times of deep turmoil (such as what the World is going through NOW).

Do you often feel as if you’re “stuck somewhere due to (and indeed, it’s true!) no fault of your own”?

And I don’t necessarily means lockdowns etc …

And youd be right in asssuming that a LOT of peopel are going through this right now.

Work is slow (for many). Money is drying up (for many). And many other things.

Stuck at home with SO’s when both grate on each other nerves.

And … well, you get the picture!

There are days when you feel like “doing nothing”. Maybe you’ll exercise. Maybe you’ll do your work. Maybe you’ll … but you won’t accomplish much.

That mind will never calm.

And in these turbulent times there are two things that can help you and GET YOU OUT OF them – much like they always have for me in every bad situation I faced/was throwin into (insert terms of choice).

(Not to mention being cheated durnig those years. Anyway …)

One being meditation, and it has to be done right.

Many people are surprised at the spiritual side of me, especially given my viscerality in writing , speaking and thinking – and physcial prowress in other areas.

And yet, this (not) jock IS a deeply spiritual man, as those truly close to me know.

And tuning into yourself is one of the best things you can do during these tough times.

Do so RIGHT though.

And you’ll truly experience what Claude Bristol referred to in “TNT – the Magic Force” – that being the power of going “within”. Into nothingness.

Think of nothing, and all your problems will fade away, my friend.

And it’s true.

And along with this, PHYSICAL exercise is key.

Could be walks on the beach. Could be runs. Could be pull-ups. Could be anything.

Key is to short bursts of exercises throughout the day to keep yourself fresh and mentally charged – and ready to HIT IT!

And that, my friend, is really (or are really) the two KEYS.

Have at!

Best,

Rahu lMookerjee
